Life

Where are we heading in life? Does anyone ever think about it. What is our purpose, Why are we hear? Why was there never a manual given to man, on how to live our life? These are the questions that are asked on a daily basis by many. Then slowly but surely the answers start showing up, where they are least expected. Many books are written on life, spirituality, and so on, but its not in the reading, but in the doing that makes the difference.

It is said that for over 3 million years human beings lived on earth as though they belonged to it, not the world belonged to them. Then in as little as ten thousand years, things started to change, and humans started to believe they had to conquer the world and take over. They started to rule the world as if it was theirs for the taking. Now today, you pay for everything, from water, to the roof over your head. What will be next, the air that you breathe? If God created the world for man, then who has the right to control that. Everyone should live a life of abundance, health, wealth, prosperity, in all areas of their lives. If it was done back then, why can't it be done today?

What are we teaching our children, to live today, and not tomorrow? Consume and hoard as much as you can today, because we don't know what tomorrow will bring. We are taught in schools at a very young age about our survival instincts and how our anscestors lived their life. But what good are those today, for the homeless, the poor and the less fortunate?

We produce more food today than we ever have, yet a large population of the world goes hungry. We keep building high rise buildings and houses that are now sitting empty, with no land in sight. Wouldn't it have been wiser to have left the land of plenty for the less fortunate? Whats wrong with everyone getting their fair share of what is rightfully theirs to begin with?

I think its time to come together and figure out a way, how things can be balanced once more. Why should people who are homeless have to live in tents in our own neighborhood? Why isn't anyone coming forth with a solution. Are we to make the rich, richer and the poor, poorer? It's definitely something to think about. Only man can fix this, with the help of God.

If you are wondering, why I am so passionate about this area of life, please pick up the book "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn, and only then you will understand the importance, and reason for this blog....
